PreschoolSubstitute Summer Camp Lindbergh Early Childhood Education
- Parttime position scheduledas needed/available 340 hours/week)
- Schedule: 7:00 5:30 MondayFriday
- Hourly rate: $13.54/hour
- Nonexempt benefits not included
Summary: LECE Substitutes work as a member of a classroom team during the school year and/or Summer Camp to maintain a safe and positive learning environment for preschool children 25 years of age. Persons interested in this position must be able to be flexible reliable positive communicate effectively as part of a team and take direction from the teacher facilitator and assistants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties as assigned)
- Develop positive communication with building and classroom staff students and their families
- Model and promote respect and caring in relationships with children parents families colleagues and community
- Utilize positive researchbased strategies to guide childrens social behavior to maintain an effective learning environment during the school day and in aftercare
- Engage in the support of implementation of the current lesson plan or any verbal or written plans for classrooms and individual students to promote curiosity and a love of learning
- Participate in ongoing professional learning through the LECE school community offerings
- Maintain a clean safe organized and orderly learning environment and school
