What You ll Be Doing
Be part of our client s team as a Junior Staff Accountant. You ll support the accounting team in keeping financial records accurate and consistent reconciling accounts and identifying discrepancies ensuring everything adds up always.
The Job at a Glance
Employment Type: Fulltime
Shift: Tuesday to Saturday 12:00 AM 9:00 AM
Work Setup: Onsite in Makati Ortigas or Quezon City (Open to WFH)
What You ll Handle
- Provide ongoing support to the assigned accounting team
- Apply knowledge of GAAP to ensure accuracy and consistency across financial records
- Identify and investigate discrepancies in financial data
- Reconcile accounts to match records between different sources
- Prepare monthly accruals and make adjustments when necessary
- Monitor and reconcile bank credit card and other financial accounts on a daily weekly and monthly basis
- Prepare bank reconciliations using Excel or property management software such as Yardi MRI or Real Page
- Coordinate with property accountants regarding:
- Outstanding checks older than 60 days
- Unresolved deposits before the next reconciliation cycle
- Other reconciling items within 30 days
- Respond promptly to requests from owners business leaders and operations teams regarding financial reports statements and related accounting items
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and strong business acumen
- Promote a customer servicefocused approach in all accounting tasks

Education and Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting or related field (completed or in progress)
- At least 1 year of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar accounting role
- Combination of education training and experience in applying GAAP principles
Additional Requirements
- Ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance; may require occasional overtime or travel
- Solid math skills including the ability to add subtract multiply divide and calculate percentages
- Proficiency in word processing spreadsheets database management and property management systems (e.g. Yardi PayScan MRI One Site)
- Capacity to handle a high volume of transactional data entry
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel and email platforms
Physical Requirements
- Ability to use hands for typing handling and feeling; ability to speak and hear clearly
- Ability to sit frequently and occasionally stand walk and reach with arms and hands
- Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 10 pounds
- Visual ability to perform close work view distances and distinguish colors
