The
Electrical Technician shall provide support for the Air Force Research Laboratory at WrightPatterson AFB (WPAFB).
Duties and Responsibilities: Replace electrical components and wiring circuits repairing simple electronic equipment.
Use tools and common electrical instruments (e.g. multimeters audio signal generators tube researchers oscilloscopes).
Complete annual company and customerrequired training as required.
Complete timesheets daily in an online system according to company policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Degree from a twoyear resident course at a technical institution OR
High school diploma or GED equivalent and 8 years of technical experience or training as an electrical technician with emphasis in electrical maintenance installation and repair.
Must be U.S. citizen.
Background check and Public Trust/NACI required to start.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Ability to read drawings and/or sketches following accepted engineering practices.
Ability to comply with applicable codes and standards of contract.
Ability to pass customer security requirements required.
Ability to attend all customer inperson meetings and conferences as required.
Ability to selfstart and work independently or as a team.
Ability to interact verbally and in writing with all levels of staff government personnel and management professionally.
Possess strong problemsolving skills.
Travel up to 10 as required.
