Founded in Tampa Florida i9 Sports is the nations first and largest youth sports league franchise business in the United States with over 1 million registrations in more than 500 communities from New York to Hawaii. Established in 2003 by Frank Fiume on the principle that the number one reason kids play organized sports is to have fun not to become the next draft pick.
i9 Sports offers youth sports leagues camps and clinics for kids ages 314 in todays most popular sports such as flag football soccer basketball volleyball and baseball. With our focus on fun safety convenience and good sportsmanship i9 Sports is reinventing the youth sports experience for families across the country. Its the way youth sports should be.
Sports Coordinator duties include the following:
- Assist with setting up practice areas and fields (cones signs etc.
- Get equipment needs from Site Manager including balls goals cones etc.
- Be a resource to the coaches with needed tasks
- Step in and assist coaches as needed. And ensure games start on time.
- Ensure Weekly Sportsmanship Awards are distributed to coaches
- Understand & enforce the i9 Sports rules books ensuring a fun learning and safety environment for all players
- Keep time and score during the game manage an ageappropriate level of instruction and competition
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Sportspecific officiating playing or coaching experience
- Highly motivated selfstarter; can work independently & solve problems
- Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
- Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
- League play for flag football begins April 26 2025 and runs through June 14 2025 for ages 414
- Outdoor Sports will be played at Liberty Park
- Games and practice will be held on Saturdays. Practice will be held for 30 mins each Saturday before games as a convenience to parents.
