A DAY IN THE LIFE
Our Environmental Field Technician position is located in Northern California. This role is responsible for conducting a variety of environmental field services in the region.
As a key member of the Site Assessment and Remediation team this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
Groundwater monitoring
Soil and soil vapor sampling
Landfill monitoring and treatment system operations
Remediation system monitoring operation and maintenance
Other duties as assigned
YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS
To perform this job successfully individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required:
Education: High School diploma or Equivalent
Mechanical abilities to operate monitoring equipment
Ability to travel 12 days per week
40 hr. Hazwoper certification
Environmental industry experience preferred
Ability to interface with crossfunctional teams and all levels of personnel/management
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
Solid organization and time/project management skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills and must have legible handwriting
Able to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities (i.e. selfstarter selfmotivated)
English language competency
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
HAZWOPER certification
