Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st March 2026.

Working Hours: 18.5 hours per week

Worker Type: Hybrid Worker

Salary: Starting Salary is 39513 (Level one) rising to 42708 per annum (pro rata for parttime)

About the Role

Senior Specialist Practitioner will hold a professional qualification in relevant field with demonstrated post qualifying experience of working with children and families. The post holder will carry a caseload of complex cases work with minimal supervisions and provide case supervision mentoring and support for HLM Family Support Workers.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Professional qualification in relevant field with demonstrated post qualifying experience of working with children and families.

Direct experience as a practitioner in a childcare setting and undertaking Mental Health case work with children and families.

Experience of mental health risk assessments managing complex cases.

Ability to supervise/mentor more junior members of staff such as Family Support Workers volunteers/students

A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
