Overview of Teaching Expectations at Maryville High School

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as a case manager support/guide students develop IEPs and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Serve as a coteacher in Science and Math classes providing instruction and reteaching to students
- Plan with coteachers to ensure consistent strong classroom instruction and supports
- Work with administrators instructional teams and support personnel to plan and implement programs and activities for students and the school community
- Utilize technology to create a blended instructional learning environment
- Analyze student data on a consistent basis to meet the individual needs of students and deliver appropriate instruction
- Be an active member of the faculty and staff
- Create and maintain a positive classroom climate through effective classroom management; supervise the proper care of school property
- Be selfreflective by participating in personal professional growth activities to learn new skills and improve teaching
- Promote positive student parent and community relationships through using effective written and oral communication
- FLSA: Exempt
