Job Description

Amazon is seeking a Program Manager I to join our Global Logistics Exports team. In this role you will develop optimized processes for handling export shipments to connected countries via ground shipping options. Youll work on creating a costeffective fast delivery service for customers in neighboring countries managing customs clearance and lastmile delivery.

Key job responsibilities
Develop and optimize processes for crossborder ground shipping exports
Create efficient customs clearance and lastmile delivery solutions
Analyze data using various tools to highlight successes and areas for improvement
Develop action plans and implement process improvements based on data analysis
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to enhance the global shipping experience
Contribute to the globalization of B2C delivery services setting new industry standards

A day in the life
As a Program Manager in Global Carrier Management your day typically begins with team meetings where youll align on priorities and ongoing projects. Throughout the day youll dive into shipping data analysis identifying trends and opportunities for optimization in our global logistics network. Youll spend time collaborating with customs and logistics partners working to streamline crossborder processes and enhance efficiency. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to developing and presenting process improvement proposals to leadership while also implementing new shipping solutions to enhance the customer experience. Your role involves regular interaction with crossfunctional teams ensuring alignment on global logistics strategies and maintaining strong partnerships across the organization.

The Global Logistics Exports team at Amazon is dedicated to innovating and operating crossborder ecommerce shipping fulfillment and customs capabilities. We aim to make crossborder shipping as simple fast and reliable as domestic shipping for customers in over 190 countries. Our team reaches customers on all seven continents constantly pushing boundaries to deliver superior global logistics solutions.

Bachelors degree in supply chain business engineering finance or related technical or quantitative field
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g. pivot tables & charts multiple criteria lookups nested logical/IF formulas data cleansing array formulas etc.
1 years of experience working directly with thirdparty carriers or airlines in logistics transportation or supply chain operations

Experience in MS Access and SQL
Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques
Speak write and read fluently in Spanish

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
