About this role:
Software Development position responsible for design implementation and support of .NET based applications to help fulfill our Research & Consulting Delivery strategy.
What youll do:
- Designing implementing unit integration testing and supporting applications.
- Have endtoend responsibility for leading projects focused on performance modular extensible web applications.
- Demonstrate a deep knowledge of .NET frameworks and best practices
- Lead the review and analysis of business requirements to create technical specifications
- Lead and participate in code reviews peer inspections and technical design/specifications
- Prepare and provide adequate (quality and quantity) documentation for work products.
- Work with crossfunctional teams to resolve business process issues and identify business process improvement opportunities
- Responsibility for resolving all issues assigned in a timely manner
- Ownership for development of application architecture and delivery of technical solutions that meet business requirements
- Ensure that all applications conform to system and programming standards and are appropriately documented
- Perform support and maintenance tasks to address production issues reported by clients
- Manage formal and informal project communication amongst team and with other project participants using methods appropriate to audience and type of communication
- Evaluate developers following project completion identifying strengths and areas for development via a formal written performance appraisal
What youll need:
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field required
Must have
- .NET experience with a relational database
- 8 years experience in web based application/software development
- Strong knowledge of C# ASP .NET framework Entity Framework Visual Studio
- Experience with HTML Javascript CSS and React framework
- Indepth knowledge of integration and web services technologies (HTTP SOAP REST XML JSON)
- Experience building scalable data models and performing complex relational databases queries using PL/SQL (Oracle MySQL PostGres) etc.
- Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment tools like Jenkins
- Strong understanding of DevOps tools and practices
- Experience with Scrum software development methodology
- A proven track record of experience in leading the design and deployment of largescale solutions.
- Experience in all phases of a systems development lifecycle
- Excellent software development and objectoriented design fundamentals with a strong background in architecting software applications
Nice to have
- Handson experience in writing Terraform CloudFormation Ansible kudu scripts
- Working knowledge of containers like Docker Kubernetes
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics etc.
- Knowledge of enterprise search platforms such as Apache Solr or Elasticearch
- Knowledge of AWS or Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of tracking monitoring and logging systems (Splunk Dynatrace Datadog)

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 116000 USD 163000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a rolebased uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
