Job Description
School of the Incarnation is seeking qualified candidates for an in person middle school math teacher for for theschool year and beyond. This teacher is expected to foster a faithfilled Catholic learning environment that recognizes the dignity of each person while having the skill and expertise to align plan and implement instruction according to the Archdiocesan curriculum.
Essential Functions
- Develop and document weekly lesson plans consistent with curriculum guidelines.
- Provide gradeappropriate instructional program.
- Maintain high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
- Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times and for classroom management using PBIS (positive behavior intervention and support) protocols.
- Implement lesson plans utilizing techniques to motivate challenge and engage students.
- Establish reasonable standards for student achievement updating electronic gradebook frequently.
- Interact effectively and respond to all parent communication in a professional empathetic and timely manner.
- Participate in faculty meetings retreats school committees and inservice learning opportunities.
- Participate in the active supervision of students at all times including assigned duties such as arrival/dismissal car line recess Cafeteria etc.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers staff and administration.
Position Qualifications
- Degree in Education
- Current MSDE certification
- Minimum of three years of experience teaching preferred
- Experience in a Catholic School setting is preferred
- Must be comfortable with technology including GSuite Google Classroom Smartboards etc.
- Must commit to Catholic School education
Range: $46000 $90000 Annualized
