About this role:
Due to continuous growth we are looking to recruit a Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our busy commercial department.
We are looking for a trainee to work in our Quantity Surveying department who is looking to embark on a career in the commercial work.
The role is working with the wider QS and Commercial Team and is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who is looking to study and gain experience whilst in the workplace.
- Location: Sheffield
- Hours of Work:Monday to Friday 40 Hours a week)
Responsibilities will include
- Completing and updating commercial paperwork
- Cash Allocation and cash forecasting.
- Preparation and submission of applications
- Assisting the commercial and quantity surveyor managers.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients subcontractors and internal teams.
Knowledge experience and qualifications required:
- Strong computer skills particularly on Microsoft programmes such as excel)
- Confident in communication with staff at all levels
- Ability to work within a fast paced environment.
- Strong administrative background
Further studies will be available to be discussed upon appointment We will look at you signing on a with local apprenticeship provider to gain a qualification Level 3
