As part of the College of Arts & Media Deans administrative team the position works closely with the Associate Dean for Faculty & Student Affairs to perform a wide range of duties that promote academic success. Tasks performed are primarily in the areas of: course scheduling curriculum processes faculty affairs data reporting and analysis and other duties and projects as needed.

Course & Curriculum Coordination 60
Create analyze manage and monitor all course scheduling and rooming curriculum and related materials registration and enrollment
Serve as course catalog point of contact and manage the annual course catalog editing process to include: receive and process all changes to the course catalog during the editing period; create edit and deactivate courses and programs as requested by the college; coordinate all related matters for the college with the Office of the Registrar
Research and verify accuracy of course information enrollment data course notes instructor information room usage patterns or room features and Learning Management coding on the integrated student information system (CUSIS)
Analyze schedule against scheduling needs to make recommendations regarding classrooms and room features meeting time challenges instruction mode and other course logistics
Support the 3 CAM academic departments in course related matters such as processing rooming requests course creation edits to course titles descriptions and requisites faculty changes and facilitating the steps for new program development
Provide weekly class list reports to key stakeholders
Ensure inclusion of new courses on CUSIS following the campus University Curriculum Committee and Core Curriculum Oversight Committee process
Provide departments with weekly updated Notices of Intent (NOIs) present information to chairs regarding the process for submitting new course proposals or course changes
Perform annual course catalog edits soliciting and recording program and course changes for all departments within CAM for the upcoming academic year
Assist in the development of the production calendar annually and provide regular updates to academic departments
Confirm with chairs that meeting patterns are within required time grid and meet the contact hour requirements established by the Colorado Commission on Higher Education (CCHE)
Verify with the registrar that all actions and curriculum requests are completed
Coordinate course pooling between departments and partner institutions
Provide essential support to the ACPOL (Academic Policies) committee including but not limited to: schedule and attend the ACPOL meetings collect items to be discussed correspond with faculty members serving on the committee record within minutes as well as spreadsheets the outcomes of the discussions and vote execute the changes decided upon by the faculty committee and provide implementation guidance and support

Guide faculty through reappointment tenure and promotion (RTP) processes
Review and provide recommendations for the CAM Faculty Affairs website; verify links and content are up to date replaced added or removed
Maintain faculty affairs RTP calendar and faculty promotional timelines and manage tracking systems for the promotions process
Serve the Interfolio expert and utilize Interfolio to create RTP cases for faculty
Coordinate the annual faculty awards process ensuring nominations are recorded nominees are notified all documentation is received and organized and University deadlines are met
Coordinate external dossier reviews
Perform all other relevant duties as assigned and/or needed by CAM
Data Reporting & Analysis 20
Gather analyze and present datadriven insights to support business decisionmaking processes
Use enrollment reports to analyze data and inform future course offerings and budgets course cancellations and program deactivations
Gather DFW (drop fail withdraw) rates across all courses to identify where students are struggling and make recommendations to address roadblocks to persistence and graduation
Track course related data such as course enrollments caps fill rates wait lists and faculty loads to support chairs and associate dean in making effective and efficient pedagogical and curricular decisions
Perform all other relevant duties as assigned and/or needed by CAM
Qualifications you already possess (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelors degree on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications to possess (Preferred Qualifications)
Two 2 years of professional level experience working within higher education in student services academic success admissions advising course and data management or a closely related field
Experience creating complex schedules and reports
Experience working in and using CU SIS Tableau Campus Solutions or similar platforms
Experience working with Microsoft Excel
Degree in administration education student services business project management or a closely related field

The salary range or hiring range for this position has been established at $52325 $57833.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity experience education specialty and training.
The above salary range or hiring range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.
