Lecturer/Ast Inst/Inst/Ast Prof Fixed Term THR
The Department of Theatre at Michigan State University is seeking a parttime lecturer assistant instructor instructor or assistant professor of Props. This is a fixedterm ninemonth position beginning August 16 2025 and is nonrenewable. Rank is determined by highest degree with a bachelors degree required for an assistant instructor position and an MFA required for an assistant professor position. All degrees must be confirmed by degreegranting institutions at the time of hire.
The successful candidate will be teaching an introduction to Props Crafts course to graduate and undergraduate students and serving as a mentor for students assigned as props designers for the 2025/2026 department productions.
Specific Responsibilities: Teach 1 class FS25 and 1 class SS26 and mentorship
