Job Description

Senior People Advisor

Any Ramboll UK office

This is a fixed-term role until the end of January 2026.

Your new role

As Senior People Advisor you will support employees and managers in your region on a broad scope of people processes. You will work primarily with either employee relations/case management or global HR processes but you will be able to provide back-up to your colleagues on each topic. As an experienced member of the team you are capable of taking independent responsibility for tasks within your own scope of responsibility.

More specifically your tasks and responsibilities encompass but are not limited to:

  • Providing process support and advisory on global HR processes. This can include responsibility as champion or process expert for one or several global people processes (e.g. ASR ESES PDP talent review succession planning) and providing training and support in implementing them regionally or within specified market
  • Advising managers on employment policies and guidance in own region based on your knowledge of labour law and HR processes in multiple countries within own region
  • Guidance to employees and managers on the best use of ServiceNow Workday available reports and other supporting technologies and resources
  • Active participation in HR processes such as onboarding activities or different people related campaigns organised in own geographies
  • Execution of employee case management including topics such as leave management (parental leaves sick leaves and similar)
  • Providing and seeking employment law advice on both collective and individual cases and topics
  • Contribute actively to develop HR policies procedures and documents within own region
  • Participation in HR projects as relevant and required
  • Active participation in local or regional activities in accordance with the HR agenda.

As a member of a global team you are expected to take active part in developing our processes and ways of working and ensuring we provide our services to the employees and managers with a One HR mindset. You will actively guide and mentor other members of the People Advisory team.

About you

Experience:

  • An experienced HR generalist with knowledge of global and local regulatory variations
  • Knowledge of employee relations processes and case management
  • Customer service orientation and ability to translate business requirements into service delivery
  • Proficient in using HR technology preferably with Workday experience. Skilled user of Microsoft Office applications.

  • You have a pragmatic approach to solving problems and an ability to transform your learnings into growth
  • You have an improvement mindset and can combine this with your understanding of customer needs to create a great service to our employees and managers
  • Ability to work across cultures and in virtual teams
  • Previous experience from working in a people function or similar relevant experience as project manager or process expert
  • Strong English language skills spoken and in writing
  • Relevant educational background (university degree in a relevant field)
