You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailVerndale is looking for a Commerce Account Executive to build and scale a national sales function driving revenue growth in the commerce implementation space. This role is responsible for exceeding revenue quotas within a defined sales territory selling professional services that empower clients to maximize growth through online commerce.
As a key player in our expansion you will develop and execute sales strategies leveraging Verndales expertise in commerce platform implementation optimization digital marketing and creative design. Youll take a hunter approach within a teamselling model identifying and addressing obstacles to online commerce growth for midmarket and enterprise clients.
Success in this role is rooted in deep expertise and strong relationships within strategic partner organizations such as BigCommerce Shopify. Your ability to collaborate crossfunctionallyboth internally and externallywill be critical in building a highperforming sales function that scales Verndales reach across commerce platforms.
Leverage your existing relationships within BigCommerce Shopify to drive new qualified opportunities.
Execute a consultative sales approach articulating clear business value to decisionmakers across eCommerce Marketing IT and business leadership teams.
Own pipeline generationdevelop new opportunities and execute a territory development plan that expands Verndales market presence.
Drive and exceed quota consistently closing highquality deals with clear alignment between client expectations and Verndales delivery.
Cosell with strategic partners aligning efforts to maximize mutual success.
Lead and collaborate with crossfunctional teams ensuring a seamless sales process and strong handoff to implementation teams.
Apply valuebased sales methodologies such as Solution Selling or Challenger Sales to effectively position Verndales services and differentiate our offering.
4 years of experience selling eCommercerelated services or software.
Proven track record of exceeding quota and consistently closing new business.
Demonstrated expertise in a structured sales methodology (e.g. Solution Selling Challenger etc..
Deep relationships and experience coselling with strategic partners BigCommerce Shopify is required.
Strong ability to engage and communicate with executive stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to scale a national sales function within a growing organization.
