About You
Join RMIT as the OCM Practice Lead where youll oversee change management initiatives within the Portfolio and Planning department. Youll lead a team dedicated to supporting RMITs global and corporate objectivesfrom small technology upgrades to complex enterprisewide programs involving technical change organisational redesign and culture uplift. This role reports to the Director of Portfolio and Planning and collaborates closely with the Portfolio OCM Delivery Lead.
To be successful in this position youll have:
Considerable experience as a Practice Lead / Practice Manager.
Minimum 10 years experience in OCM/change management and at least 23 years experience in leading an OCM/change management function.
Demonstrated strong people/team management skills and ability to create a highperforming collaborative OCM team culture.
Experience with executivelevel engagement.
Excellent stakeholder management negotiation facilitation and relationship skills including experience in developing effective relationships with diverse staff at all levels.
Leadership of major projects requiring OCM/change management (upward of $1 million dollars).
Experience in leading and managing change in complex ambiguous dynamic environments in a global organisation across multiple geographies.
Specialised experience in developing and implementing OCM strategies for complex enterprisewide programs and/or transformation programs.
Specialised experience of OCM endtoend delivery within projects and the full spectrum of change (i.e. from simple policy change through to organisational restructures and culture uplift).
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in commerce Business or Organisational Psychology
Post Graduate qualifications in a discipline of Commerce Business or Organisational Psychology.
Prosci certification PCI Change Management Institute Master Level accreditation or equivalent Organisation Management Change qualification

About the Portfolio
The Operations Portfolio enables an integrated enterprise wide delivery for best practice student and staff experiences. The Portfolio incorporates the following business units: Enterprise Projects and Business Performance (EPBP) Communications People Information and Technology Services (ITS) Office of the Chief Operating Officer Procurement and Vietnam Operations.
The Portfolio houses significant drivers and delivery components across the staff and student journeys and enables the overall experience for both groups. The Portfolio is integral in bringing the RMIT strategy to life across the globe. Each of these functions supports the global operations of the University both directly as well as through its controlled entities.
The Information Technology Services (ITS) function provides RMIT University with current and emerging Technology systems and services. Our vision of unleashing technologies to enable great experiences for RMIT communities supports a proactive and leadingedge technology ecosystem mindset and delivery
empowering the advancement of the Universitys commitment to advancing Lifelong Learners.
Within ITS function the relevant group is the Portfolio and Planning department: Handles governance and delivery of approved enterprise and technology projects in line with RMIT and ITS strategy and manages a sizeable portfolio of projects across RMIT Global (Australia Vietnam Europe and partners).
