You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) seeks a dynamic multitasker with excellent communication skills. This role involves delivering psychoeducational programs and case management services to the offender/resident population through classes and oneonone sessions on weekdays evenings and weekends. Responsibilities include conducting needs assessments developing individual plans and assisting in transitional planning for offenders leaving the reentry center. This position requires interaction with internal and external staff Community Corrections Officers (CCOs) and community providers. Additionally maintaining accurate documentation and statistical data/reports is essential. The role demands an individual who can work independently with minimal supervision.
Delivers programming services and classes in a group or oneonone setting during weekdays weekends and evenings to offenders/residents under supervision of the Community Corrections Division
Case management of various elements of offender/resident participation class completions documentation and data entry
Statistical gathering and reporting on programs offender/resident needs participation and success of programs
Communicates interacts and works with internal and external employees contractors community agencies programming delivery entities and offenders/residents
Drives on State business
Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
Knowledge of:
Principles and practices of program planning laws rules regulations and trends in the area of assignment
Local state and federal programs and resources
Research methodologies and report preparation
Best practices in community resources and requirements
ADCRR policies and procedures
Security practices
Computer operations and various software programs including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
Skill in:

Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships

Reentry planning

Collecting and maintaining accurate data/documentation and program records

Coordinate offender/resident release planning

Bachelors degree in a related field
Minimum of one 1 year experience working with justiceinvolved individuals probationers parolees or inmates
Minimum of one 1 year experience in instruction or teaching of programs classes or groups
Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation and a drug test.
In an effort to maintain a safe environment all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current valid classappropriate drivers license complete all required training and successfully pass all necessary drivers license record checks. The license must be current unexpired and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to drivers license record checks must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C. R210207.11.

Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS). Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
