What you will be doing:
- Performing routine inspections maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment on vessels
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Maintaining equipment
- Servicing main engines gears & generator engines
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Assuring safe and efficient operations through compliance with Ingrams policies and principles safety systems and the companys code of ethics.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Managing maintenance on vessels in our HELM system
Qualifications :
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- High school diploma/GED is required
- Must have valid drivers license
- 02 years relative experience; marine industry experience a plus
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
- Basic mechanical background and ability is expected.
- Ability to operate various hand and power tools.
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Control down time
- Diesel Engine Knowledge Vessel Knowledge.
- 80 of duties are on the water
