Were seeking a data scientist who blends advanced machine learning expertise with a genuine passion for product and datadriven innovation. Youll develop sophisticated ML models to revolutionize product development and design for serviceability. Your work will transform customer experiences through scientific methods deep learning architectures and stateoftheart AI models. Success in this position demands exceptional scientific leadership strong customer focus software engineering excellence product vision and sharp business acumen. You have experience in developing experimental and analytical plans for data modeling processes use of strong baselines ability to accurately determine cause and effect relations. You are exceptionally curious to learn and an expert in diving into data to discover hidden patterns and of conducting error/deviation analysis.

realworld problems by getting and analyzing large amounts of data diving deep to identify business insights and opportunities design simulations and experiments developing statistical and ML models by tailoring to business needs and collaborating with Scientists Engineers BIEs and Product Managers.

statistical and machine learning knowledge to specific business problems and data.
Machine Learning Pipeline orchestration with AWS (SageMaker Batch Lambda Step Functions)
written and verbal presentations to share insights to audiences of varying levels of technical sophistication.


4 years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL) scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R SAS Matlab etc. experience
4 years of data scientist experience
4 years of machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques and parameters that affect their performance experience
Bachelors degree
Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment

Masters degree in a quantitative field such as statistics mathematics data science business analytics economics finance engineering or computer science
Experience in building and deploying largescale machinelearning models for computer vision natural language processing ranking or personalization etc.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
