I. Job Summary Major goals and objectives.
Dotdash Meredith is seeking an Associate Director Marketing to join our Lifestyle team contributing to the brand and category strategy for our Retail vertical. As a key player in our Lifestyle Marketing vertical you will collaborate closely with the Vertical Sales Team to develop and execute category strategies manage the presale process and drive revenue growth with toptier Retail advertising partners. This position reports to the Exec. Director Marketing of Retail.
This hybrid role based in NYC requires three days in the office each week and reports directly to the Exec. Director Marketing.
Hybrid 3x A Week
Inoffice Expectations: This position offers remote work flexibility; however if you reside within a commutable distance to our office in New York the expectation is to work from the office three times per week.
II. Essential Job Functions
Lead Proposal Process: Manage proactive and RFP responses creating smart strategic ideas for advertising partners in the category vertical
Develop Client Meeting Materials:: Assist sales as they meet with key clients by creating compelling materials that effectively showcase DDM our brands and relevant offerings that are applicable in the Retail marketplace
Sales Partnership: Develop strong relationships with the Sales Teams to become experts on their business; provide support on client calls as needed
Storytelling: Bring ideas to life through wellwritten and visuallyappealing proposals that represent our brands capabilities and ideas flawlessly
CrossDepartment Communication: Partner closely with Sales Editorial Content Strategy Research Account Strategy and Design to ensure proposals and presentation effectively communicate our unique value proposition

Specific Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
5 7 years relevant experience at a digital publisher with a focus in presales marketing; background in Retail Category a plus
Excellent creative writing and storytelling skills with an ability to execute visually impactful presentations (fluent in Keynote and Powerpoint)
Youre an excellent communicator who remains poised under pressure and can tailor messages for different audiences
You have an understanding of the advertising landscape products and trends; understanding of digital print and/or programmatic marketplace is required
You are a true selfstarter provide proactive ideas understand organizational goals and move initiatives forward
You are comfortable working in a fast paced environment
Travel Required (Approximate): Minimal as needed for team meetings

Salary: New York: $105000.00 $115000.00The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Merediths total compensation package for employees.
