Role Summary
- Role: You will have the opportunity to gain handson experience working alongside our inhouse Legal team supporting with a variety of work and commerciallyfocused projects across the companys global business operations
- Salary: A onemonth stipend of 2150

- Role Type: Fulltime temporary internship
- Start Date: This internship will either run from Monday 7th July to Friday 1st August or from Monday 1st September to Friday 26th September 2025. You will be asked to select your preferred start date in the application form
- Application Deadlines: The deadline for applications is Sunday 18th May 2025 with interviews taking place shortly after. You will be updated on your application following this deadline
- Location: This is an onsite role based in our Global Headquarters in Cambridge
About the Role
Costello Medical is offering a fourweek Legal Internship at our global headquarters in Cambridge for up to two candidates. The successful candidate(s) will join our inhouse Legal team gaining handson experience in daytoday operations and collaborating closely with team members on various commerciallyfocused projects and initiatives across different aspects of the business. This role provides invaluable exposure to various areas of commercial law offering the opportunity to lead a researchbased project and present findings to the wider Legal team.
Our Legal team operates globally supporting Costello Medicals scientific and operational teams by advising on best practices and managing risk. The team also collaborates closely with the companys clients and suppliers to ensure strong partnerships addressing legal matters such as contracting intellectual property and data protection.

Requirements
About You
Our Legal Internship is best suited to current undergraduate law students who are able to undertake a full time fourweek internship commencing in either July or September 2025. However we welcome applications from law school students and undergraduates from other disciplines who can demonstrate a genuine interest in pursuing a career in law.
The successful candidate will be proactive and eager to take on new challenges with a friendly positive and cando attitude. You will also value the opportunity to build on your commercial awareness and legal skills in a dynamic and fastpaced office environment.
Essential requirements for the role are:
- A predicted 2:1 grade or higher for your undergraduate law degree
- A genuine interest in learning about inhouse legal work coupled with a desire to understand the challenges faced by the company
- A good sense of commercial awareness
- Excellent written and spoken English and the confidence to communicate legal material clearly in both written and oral form
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan your own work effectively demonstrating a proactive approach to task prioritisation and time management
- Selfmotivation selfawareness and a willingness to develop your skills and knowledge in a fastpaced office environment
- The ability to conduct comprehensive legal research and present your findings effectively
- Some experience drafting legal documents is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided by experienced members of the legal team
