The School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at UNSW is looking for a motivated Laboratory Manager to ensures the Schools laboratory facilities operate smoothly by providing safe and effective procurement and managing operations and maintenance of all infrastructure equipment and facilities. You will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of 16 staff within these laboratories while carrying out the general management of the laboratories and meeting the accountability requirements in terms of Work Health and Safety and laboratory practice standards. In this role you will be focused on achieving highlevel outcomes in both technical and administrative areas of the schools laboratories staff management and infrastructure.
This role reports to the Deputy Head of School (Laboratories and Infrastructure) and has 8 direct reports.
