What You Will Be Doing:
In this postion as a the Research Analyst 1/2/3 you will perform complex technical research and statistical analysis of quantitative and qualitative behavioral health data from a variety of datasets to support the Divisions policy research develop reporting to satisfy state and federal requirements and inform the programmatic evaluation of the Divisions grantfunded services.
You will be responsible for developing analyzing and recommending improvements to research and analysis methods techniques and procedures. As the successful candidate you will also prepare professional technical reports that may require the development of companion data visualizations and will be responsible for maintaining project documentation to support sectionwide project management activities. You will utilize a variety of statistical analysis software/tools such as Power BI SPSS SAS R SQL and/or Tableau to perform assigned tasks.

The Anchorage Regional Office located at 3601 C Street Anchorage AK 99503 is conveniently located in Midtown Anchorage.

FLEXIBLY STAFFEDResearch Analyst 1: Biweekly Salary: $1819.50
Research Analyst 2: Biweekly salary: $2229.75
Research Analyst 3: Biweekly salary: $2568.75
This position is flexibly staffed. Depending on the applicants training and/or experience this vacancy may be filled at either the 1 2 or 3 levels. The full range of salaries is listed above. The starting salary will be determined by the position level. If filled at a lower level promotion to the higher level will only occur upon successful completion of the probationary period and required training and the applicant meets the minimum qualifications of the higher job class and final approval by the supervisor.EDUCATION
