Job Description
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design planning delivery and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words were the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers storage networking power and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and were looking for talented people who want to help.
Youll join a diverse team of software hardware and network engineers supply chain specialists security experts operations managers and other vital roles. Youll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. You are leading cross function team to deliver AWS NPI program and launch in global manufacturing locations. You are leading and driving continuous improvement initiative with internal and external partners. You are responsible for the success of the NPI launch and and are accountable for operation excellence.
Key job responsibilities
Lead cross function team to deliver NPI programs and achieve mass production readiness across AWS global manufacturing sites.
Define and guide decisions on NPI manufacturing capability and capacity enablement strategy and implementation plan
Lead and drive continuous improvement for successful NPI release and achieve operation excellence
Communicate NPI program launch plan and status to leadership including Csuite executive
Manage program deliverable risk mitigation and engineering changes from NPI through lifecycle management

Bachelors degree in a related field (Industrial Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering preferred)
5 years experience managing new product introduction of enterprise products from concept till mass production with extensive knowledge of endtoend hardware development manufacturing and operation process.
Experience leading cross functional team with geographically dispersed and/or adhoc teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience in developing and writing white papers and presenting in executive level meetings
Travel as required to accomplish business needs.
Bachelors degree and professional experience in Operation Management Engineering Discipline and/or Program Management
Experience executing projects to PMIPMP standards
Proven ability to influence others facilitate agreement among stakeholders with different interests.
Experience in practicing/implementing continuous improvement methodology
Ability to roll up sleeves and operate as an individual contributor to get the job done; at the same time be able to guide a team toward an objective
Recognizes the criticality of delivering to both individual and team expectations.
Selfmotivated and possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills selfdiscipline initiative and independence.
Experience with managing proprietary technology applications.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $71500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $153000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
