Job Description:

Testing encompasses serving as a Colorado Certified ThirdParty Tester for Aims Community Colleges Commercial Drivers License Training program. CDL testing is for Aims Community Colleges trainees from the CDL training program or may be for college partners and walkin CDL candidates.
The tester is part of a client success team offering educated feedback as to additional training time needed; corrective training suggestions whether retesting for the CDL license is advisable and if so under what circumstances.
The tester will administrate the CDL test in accordance with the standards set forth in the 3rd Party Colorado CDL Testers Manual.
Must attend State Sanctioned refresher training courses which are offered.
Work Hours:
Testing is done 7 days/week mostly on weekends
Minimum Qualifications:
Hold a CDL of the same (or higher) class and with all endorsements necessary to operate the CMV for which training is to be provided. (Class A CDL required)
Meet all applicable State qualification requirements for CMV instructors.
Have a minimum of two years experience operating a CMV requiring a CDL of the same (or higher) class or the same endorsement ORhave a minimum of two years experience as a BTW CMV instructor.
Valid/nonexpired DOT Medical Card/Certification.
Demonstrate basic to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite specialized software in order to be able to teach classroom and driving simulation portions of program).
This position requires the use of a company vehicle and/or personal vehicle for business travel. The selected candidate must successfully pass an MVR and be insurable under Aims insurance.
Ability to pass initial and required random 11panel drug screens.
A preemployment postoffer physical examination will be required.
Ability to stand on pavement (training lot) for extended periods of time in all types of weather.
Ability to instruct/train in inclement weather.
Must be able to bend and pick up traffic cones.
