Director People Analytics

The HR Strategy & Operations team within Gartner derives actionable insights from workforce data to recommend and implement better ways of attracting developing and retaining Gartner associates to drive growth higher sales more productivity and better client experiences. We drive impact on Gartners Mission Critical Priorities by leveraging state of the art technology analytics and processes.

The Director People Analytics Partner (Sales & Services) will be a strategic partner within the HR Strategy and Operations team. This role will provide both consultative and technical analytics support to Gartners Sales & Services HR teams.

  • As the daytoday partner with HR Partners and Recruiting leads the Director People Analytics Partner will help identify and solve critical business problems through the strategic consultation and application of robust analytical solutions.

  • This role will ensure analytical best practices and influence the interpretation of insights with a relentless focus on data accuracy consistency and scalability in alignment with Gartners growth.

  • The Director People Analytics Partner will influence the product and analytics roadmaps to ensure Sales & Services business needs are prioritized.

What youll do:

Operate as a strategic partner in the organization to deliver three critical capabilities to support Gartners growth:

  • Consultative Partnership

    • Provides consultative partnership to our senior HR Partner and Recruiting leadership across Sales & Services teams including proactive identification & solutioning of critical business problems

    • Supports critical initiatives driving sales staffing and productivity

    • Engages and influences senior Gartner leaders

  • Analytical ProblemSolving

    • Creatively solves complex business problems

    • Uses insights from quantitative and qualitative data to tell a story and influence outcomes across a wide range of executivelevel stakeholders

  • CrossFunctional Collaboration

    • Influences product and analytics roadmaps across the organization ensuring Sales & Services priorities are driving People Analytics priorities

    • Fosters strong crossfunctional collaboration with other departments such as Sales Strategy & Operations Finance IT and others.

What Youll Need:

  • Demonstrated strong analytical organizational communication and leadership skills at all levels

  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex/unstructured business problems.

  • Uses data and the economics of the business to analyze problems and recommend solutions (can translate insights into actionable solutions).

  • 10 years of progressive experience in analytics and HR or consulting

  • Ability to clearly and succinctly communicate with senior leadership to drive decisions

  • Proven ability to influence and coordinate with global team members anticipate and manage risks set appropriate expectations and consistently deliver strong results

  • Proven track record of establishing trusted partner relationships including collaborating with and influencing leaders and teams across multiple business functions

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 116000 USD 164000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a rolebased uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO a 401k match up to $7200 per year the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount and more.
