The University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Accounting Lee Business School R0144340.

ROLE of the POSITION
This fulltime tenuretrack position involves teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels conducting significant research leading to highquality refereed publications and performing appropriate internal and external service activities.

PROFILE of the COLLEGE
The Lee Business School which is accredited by the AACSB is home to approximately 85 faculty and 4000 students including 500 graduate students. The school offers ten bachelors degrees and seven masters degrees including a Master of Accounting and MBA programs.
PROFILE of the DEPARTMENT
The Department of Accounting is individually accredited by the AACSB and is one of 33 U.S. universities to be endorsed by the Institute of Internal Auditors. The department has 17 fulltime faculty members and offers both a bachelors and masters degree in accounting. Approximately 150 bachelors and 55 masters students graduate from UNLVs accounting programs each year. UNLVs accounting faculty members strive to be excellent teachers whose research targets the highestquality academic journals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires adoctoral degreefrom an AACSBaccredited college or university. ABDs may be considered but credentials must be obtained prior to the start date. Additionally candidates must demonstrate the potential for excellence in both research and teaching as evidenced by a portfolio of highquality published and/or ongoing research and effective teaching evaluations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional certification (e.g. CPA CMA CISA CIA) is strongly preferred. Our primary teaching needs are in accounting information systems and data analytics but we will also consider audit financial and managerial. Preference will also be given to those with a demonstrated focus on behavioral research (e.g. experimental qualitative) with the potential for publication in premier academic accounting journals.
