Your role
The role of Equipment Maintenance Specialist III in the Production Maintenance Department reportingto the Maintenance Supervisor. This position will focus on the daily maintenance and continuousimprovement of automated production equipment. This position will also provide technical support forthe engineering department with the of change controls OQ/IQ protocols and other relatedactions. This position will also provide guidance and support to more junior level technical maintenancepersonnel.
SHIFT: Days typically 6:00AM 2:30PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily maintenance of production/Process equipment both mechanically and electrically
- Troubleshoot mechanical electrical process systems.
- Install and maintain PLCs Servo motors and drives HMIs etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
- Evaluate and optimize Preventative Maintenance (PM) activities
- Perform high level trouble shooting pertaining but not limited to: PLC AC drives DC drivespneumatics servomotors and process skids
- Technical lead of complex interdepartmental tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Who you are
Required Qualifications:
- Associates degree or 12 years of vocational tech training
- 4years of working experience with PLC control systems and mechanical equipment within a manufacturingenvironment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid ElectroMechanical knowledge along with experience applying this knowledge toprocess/equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Proven mechanical electrical equipment repair skills
- Experience and ability to become a Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW)
- Familiarity with EH&S ISO cGMP and other regulatory requirements in a manufacturingenvironment
- Experience with Microsoft Office products basic CAD drawing.
- Understand safe work practices and has experience in lockout tag out electrical safety etc.
- Lean/Six Sigma experience is a plus
