What Youll Be Doing
Be part of our client s team as a skilled Accountant managing financial records budgets and compliance. You ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial processes in a mediadriven creative environment.
What to Expect in This Role
Shift: Night Shift (Mon Fri 08:00 PM to 05:00 AM)
Work Setup: Onsite Ortigas / Makati (Will evolve to hybrid 3 days in the office 2 days work at home)
Financial Accounting and Reporting:
- Maintain and update financial records including ledgers journals and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends variances and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local GAAP.
General Ledger and Reconciliation:
- Manage the general ledger ensuring all entries are accurate and uptodate.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
- Provide detailed variance analysis and explanations.
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast future financial trends.
Tax Compliance and Planning:
- Prepare and file all necessary tax returns (e.g. VAT income tax withholding tax) in compliance with Philippine tax regulations.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.
- Implement tax strategies to optimize tax liabilities.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Oversee the processing of invoices expense claims and payments.
- Manage credit control and collections activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and payment processing.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage shortterm investments.
- Optimize working capital through effective management of receivables and payables.
Audit and Internal Controls:
- Coordinate and prepare for external audits and internal control reviews.
- Implement and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard assets.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
Financial Systems and Processes:
- Enhance and maintain accounting systems and software.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and implement best practices.
- Provide training and support to finance team members on financial systems.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate financial information and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
- Provide financial advice and guidance on business decisions.
Requirements
What You Need to Bring
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- 3 5 years of experience in accounting/finance ideally in a multinational or outsourced setting
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Experience with NetSuite required
- Familiarity with Bill Blackline and 1099 is a plus
- Background in working with USbased companies preferred
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- High attention to detail and organizational strength
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work both independently and within remote teams
- High standards of ethics and professionalism
