Within the Universitys Corporate Development engine the Portfolio Analyst helps drive strategic capital investment. This role powers the Capital Investment team mastering governance data and performance reporting to optimise the Universitys expansive portfolio. Beyond core duties the Analyst will leverage their expertise to fuel diverse Corporate Development initiatives shaping the institutions future.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual adept at managing complex tasks and communicating clearly. This person will possess strong analytical skills particularly in Excel and/or PowerBI and excel at building relationships across all levels. Your new team Corporate Development
The Corporate Development team is responsible for ensuring that the Universitys property infrastructure and financial assets/liabilities enable strategy and provide a meaningful competitive advantage. Key activities include strategy planning and performance of the Universitys estate investment in and development of real property capital planning and associated investment processes enterprise portfolio management monitoring and reporting oversight of financial investment portfolios treasury and financial risk management debt and commercial advisory and sustainability strategy development planning and reporting and communications and stakeholder engagement.
The Capital Investment team plays a key role to collaborate with different stakeholders to plan and manage the Universitys capital expenditure. We also facilitate the funding requests and provide administration support to various levels of the Universitys committees to enable informed decision making. To support these tasks the team runs a comprehensive SharePoint site to store key committee papers project data and monthly/quarterly reports.
