Physical Portfolio Operations Manager (f/m/d)
Workload: 80-100%
Location: Malm Oslo Helsinki
Join Axpo as a Physical Portfolio Operations Manager where you will manage and optimize physical desk positions support trading and finance teams and build robust customer solutions for physical electricity trading and ancillary services. This role offers growth towards specialized operational or commercial portfolio management.
What you will do:
- Implement customer solutions for physical electricity supply and ancillary services in collaboration with the Physical Desk and Originators.
- Trade and optimize multi-market assets including wind solar BESS and hybrid systems using data-driven tools.
- Support the operations team with trading solution implementations for customers.
- Participate in projects related to regulatory changes or customer solution implementation.
- Ensure stable safe legal and regulatory-compliant trading operations and portfolio management.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with Axpos subcontractors and TSOs.
What you bring & who you are:
- Masters degree or equivalent in Engineering Finance Computer Science or related fields.
- Basic understanding of Nordic physical electricity and ancillary services markets including TSO rules and platforms.
- Programming skills in Python SQL GIT and Azure DevOps; basic database knowledge.
- Team-oriented with high attention to detail and structured work approach.
- Quick learner with logical thinking and ability to work calmly under stress.
- Fluent in English and at least one Nordic language.
