Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a highperforming research team.
- Drive workforce alignment and ROI analysis to optimize program offerings.
- Utilize tools like Lightcast BLS data and IPEDS for labor market insights.
- Provide concise highlevel reports for executive decisionmaking.
- Guide research strategy and standardize methodologies.
- Manage five direct reports ensuring strategic alignment.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance WGUs workforce impact.
- Champion diversity and equity in workforce research.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
- Expertise in workforce analytics labor market research or higher ed research.
- Proficiency in data visualization (Tableau PowerPoint) and analytics tools (SQL Python R preferred).
- Excellent communication and strategic thinking abilities.
- Project management skills with a focus on and impact.
- Commitment to WGUs mission of workforcealigned education.
Education & Experience:
- Masters in Data Science Economics Statistics Public Policy Business or related field.
- 7 years in workforce research or analytics.
- 3 years managing research teams.
- Higher education government or workforce development experience preferred.
