The Senior Commercial Analyst role is instrumental in managing supplier performance and identifying costsaving opportunities while enhancing the overall customer experience across the global lounge network. The Senior Commercial Analyst will collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders driving strategic initiatives managing contract negotiations and overseeing billing and invoicing processes to ensure the financial success and cost management of the lounge portfolio.
In this role the Senior Commercial Analyst will manage a small team whom is responsible for all billing invoicing and reporting requirements across Qantas Lounges spend base. Additionally this role will work with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless lounge operations from operational implementation to product lifecycle management.
The role also involves supplier performance analysing trends identifying risks and opportunities and continuously improving systems and processes to support the longterm success of the lounge network. This position offers an exciting opportunity for those with strong commercial acumen and a passion for improving customer experiences.
Youll have:
- 5 years experience in commercial analytics and supplier performance management
- Proven experience in managing commercial portfolios ideally within a customerfocused or hospitality environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in managing contracts and building strategic supplier relationships.
- Expertise in financial management including budgeting billing and invoicing with the ability to drive P&L performance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a track record of identifying trends risks and opportunities to improve business outcomes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
- Strong problemsolving and conflict resolution skills ensuring smooth collaboration and issue resolution across teams.
- A solid understanding of financial analysis and the ability to apply insights for business growth and operational improvements.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders both internal and external to drive business results.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences and optimizing operational efficiencies.
