About the Role: The Director Enterprise Technology & Cyber will play a critical role in supporting the Head of Enterprise Technology & Cyber Risk as the organization advances the Enterprise Technology & Risk strategy and framework. This position resides in the Second Line of Defense and is tasked with operationalizing the framework and providing divisional oversight ensuring consistency and compliance across all areas. The Director will focus on tactical detailed risk analysis and advisory and crossdivisional alignment to support effective and riskbased identification prioritization and mitigation of technology and cyber risks.

Responsibilities and Impact:

Impact: This role is essential for ensuring the operational success of the organizations technology and cyber risk management practices. By focusing on tactical and detailed oversight the Director supports the strategic framework driving effective and fit for purpose technology and cyber risk management.

Responsibilities:

Operational :

  • Implement and operationalize the Enterprise Technology & Cyber Risk Management framework across assigned divisions in close partnership with First Line stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent application of risk management practices and policies enhancing collaboration with First Line Control functions and other assurance functions such as Internal Audit.

Risk Advisory and Oversight:

  • Provide expert risk advisory services to mitigate technology and cyberrelated risks within divisions.
  • Facilitate discussions and assessments with impacted stakeholders to interpret risks and their implications for the organization.
  • Deliver detailed oversight of technology and cyber risks at the divisional level ensuring comprehensive risk identification and management.

Risk Reporting:

  • Develop and present comprehensive risk reporting to inform and support informed decision making by key stakeholders and leadership.
  • Support the aggregation of divisional level risks to enterprise views.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure reports are comprehensive and reflect diverse perspectives and areas of concern.

Strategic Support

  • Utilize risk insights to inform strategic direction and enhance the overall technology and cyber risk management framework.
  • Assist with continuously enhancing the risk framework and methodologies to keep pace with the evolving risk environment.

Compliance and Risk Mitigation:

  • Support divisions in achieving regulatory compliance and adhering to industry standards.
  • Advise on proactive risk mitigation strategies to address specific technology and cyberrelated challenges.

CrossDivisional Coordination:

  • Serve as the key liaison between divisions facilitating communication and coordination to ensure alignment with the risk management framework.
  • Strengthen partnerships with First Line Control functions to enhance risk management practices.

DataDriven Decision Making:

  • Conduct indepth analyses of risk data to identify trends and potential areas of concern.
  • Apply risk measurement methodologies to obtain accurate views of risk and develop what if scenarios to identify cost effective mitigation options.
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership and key stakeholders driving informed and riskbased decisionmaking.

Continuous Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance risk management processes.
  • Introduce new tools and techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness ensuring continuous improvement in risk management practices.
  • Support maintenance of the technology and cyber risk framework and associated policies and methodologies.

Team Structure:

  • Reports directly to the Head of Technology & Cyber Risk Management within the Second Line
  • Works closely with divisional risk directors first line control functions and other stakeholder across the organization to maintain risk management practices.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $146109 to $252227. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individuals geographic location as well as experience level skill set training licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
