Summer Camp Manager
This is a seasonal/temporary position within C3 Cyber Club

About us:
C3 Cyber Club is a progressive childrens center where technology is the focus on fun video gaming entertainment and exciting computer classes like Game Design FilmMaking 3D Animation & more! As Northern VA largest gaming center we also have a wellbalanced summer camp program where we take our students on daily field trips.
We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic Summer Camp Manager who enjoys working in a fastpaced environment and supervising a team of Summer Camp Counselors as they lead children through a variety of outdoor and indoor summertime activities.

1. Supervise and interact with children during several break times a day
2. Coordinate indoor activities in small group of kids inside our facility fun interactive group activities Art & Craft Project. Outdoor group activities in a parking lot behind our building. Must practice social distancing
3. Drive company van (seats 15 to and from nearby playground. Field trips are to be determined. No commercial license needed.
4. Develop and maintain positive parent communication relationships and services. Communicate with parents/guardians regarding camper progress and performance. Respond promptly and courteously to parent concerns.
5. Assure program spaces that are utilized are well frequently cleaned and left in a safe condition.
6. Obey and comply with all local and county Covid19 compliances.
7. Process registration/enrollment forms and collect payment.
8. Have a flexible work schedule; hours may fluctuate depending on number for students signed up.
9. Ensures Counselors/teachers are engaged and interacting with campers during break times
10. Resolves child conflicts in a swift and professional manner
11. Provide daily weekly and monthly summer camp participation totals to the Department Head
Managerial & Supervisory:
Prepares daily activity schedules and ensures Counselor/teachers implement the daily activities
Creates weekly staff schedule and ensure the Counselor to camper ratio meets local and county guidelines
Ensures safety of campers in the daily camp programs
Returns phone calls about camps
Assists with general camp duties throughout the day
Coaches and counsels Camp Counselors with the guidance of the Department Head
Recruits interviews and trains staff prior to and during the summer season
Makes hiring promotion disciplinary and termination recommendations to the Department Head
Reports accidents and injuries to supervisor as soon as possible
Immediately report suspicious or inappropriate behaviors or abuse relating to youth
Qualifications
College degree in Education or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
12 years experience as a summer camp supervisor
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations
First Aid certification required
Infant/Child and Adult CPR certification required
Background checks required by state specific child care licensing laws
$1520/hr depending on experience
