The Sr. Program Manager will be a key member of the Global Business Organization (GBO) Programs Team. The team partners the Managing Director for LinkedIns APAC business and the Sr. Director for Indias LTS business on key strategic priorities.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to act as a partner and advisor to senior leaders at LinkedIn ranging across sales operations finance marketing public policy communications HR and other crossfunctional teams. Their primary focus will be to ensure the successful implementation of regional strategic projects and initiatives primarily in India and across the APAC region. The secondary focus will be to support the Sr. Director to manage their rhythm of business programs.
This position reports to the Director GBO Programs Team APAC. Some travel may be required (approximately 12 trips per quarter).
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Establishing strong trustbased relationships with the India and APAC leadership working teams crossfunctional partners and executive stakeholders in the region and globally
Drive development and of Indias strategic and operational initiatives in partnership with stakeholders from multiple functions across the business in India across the APAC region and globally
Ensure initiatives are properly scoped and resourced and working team members are engaged and informed of key responsibilities.
Drive accountability with the working team on progress managing risks/opportunities and surfacing mitigating recommendations
Manage regional project portfolio track progress against key initiatives and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Develop a longterm work plan that includes clear timelines tollgates and success KPIs in partnership with the working teams
Partner with the Sr. Director Talent Solutions India and their leadership team on managing the rhythm of the business organizing staff meetings offsites all hands and other team & talent initiatives
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
8 years of industry experience in the technology/internet space or management consulting
5 years of experience managing complex projects across different crossfunctional teams
BA or BS degree
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work independently and without much supervision
Persuasive communication skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in complex matrixed organizations proven track record of working effectively across all levels and functions of an organization
Experience working in a complex highgrowth performancefocused environments
Experience in managing diverse direct/indirect teams to achieve common goals
Experience working with or in sales teams in Media or SaaS businesses
Experience in working with senior stakeholders (Director) and influencing without authority
Attention to detail ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous workstreams
Experience with change management a plus
MBA or advanced degree PMP certification a plus
