Dufferin Concrete A CRH Company is currently hiring a 310T Truck Mechanic to join their team in Burlington!

WAGE: $40.40/hr
LOCATION: Burlington
HOURS: Day Shift rotational weekends
UNION: Teamsters Local 879
Reporting to the Fleet Supervisor you will be responsible for providing maintenance and repairs to the Dufferin Concrete & Ontario Redimix fleet of vehicles.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections diagnosis & repair readymix trucks through preventative & scheduled maintenance.
- Perform removal rework and installation of various engine and chassis components.
- Use leading diagnostic technology to identify breakdowns.
- Order required parts and maintaining parts inventory.
- Document repairs on work orders and complete inspections sheets as required.
- Communicate with operations and supervisory staff on availability of equipment.
- Prioritize jobs and work safely on all equipment.
- Follow shop procedures and company policies relating to use of shop and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
- All other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Valid 310T Truck & Coach license or a registered training agreement.
- Valid class G Drivers License.
- Sound working knowledge of diesel engines hydraulic pumps/motors and air brake systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a safetyfirst approach.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to travel to local sites as required.
