Sr Technical Program Manger - AWS Power Rack SR Technical Progream Manager Hardware Engineering Services

The AWS In Rack Power Team is driving rapid innovation in the power systems used by Amazon Web Services. Our designs are fundamentally changing the data center providing operational and financial benefits that are critical to the success of the AWS business and its millions of customers. We design and build power equipment used by Amazon and AWS services such as EC2 EBS S3 Glacier and Outpost. Our engineers solve challenging technology problems and take big bets on new concepts enabling AWS services to continue to revolutionize the industry.
What you will do: we are looking for a seasoned Technical Program Manager to lead the development deployment and sustaining of power equipment firmware updates and related initiatives for our next generation data centers in a highly crossfunctional environment which includes internal customers hardware and software development teams. Youll provide program management leadership in the application of new technologies to enable large scale hardware deployments in a continuous effort to deliver a worldclass customer experience. Youll drive teams inside and outside the organization to deliver complex crossfunctional programs with high impact to the organization. This is a fastpaced intellectually challenging position and you will work with critical thinking leaders in multiple technology areas. Using data and key metrics you will drive and measure process improvements that enhance our operational effectiveness. You will work independently in a dynamic challenging and fastchanging organization. Youll have high standards for yourself and everyone you work with and youll be constantly looking for ways to improve your products performance quality and cost. 5 years of technical product or program management experience
4 years of software development experience
3 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules

7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
