Job Description
ABOUT THE POSITION:
As our existing Allied Health team continues to do amazing work our referral base keeps quickly growing creating opportunities to expand our allied health team. The successful candidate will be given an opportunity to participate in improving other peoples lives by delivering highquality personcentred services working with a range of clientsacross a range of care needs from shortterm involvement to complex longterm needs. This will involve but is not limited to:
- assessing diagnosing and managing clients who present with a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders;
- participation in complex multidisciplinary assessments (e.g. FASD)
- providing client support including clinic or homebased sessions training and resource development;
- working with low and high tech ACC.
The position is suitable for experienced practitioners as well as recent graduates as we aim to tailor a caseload supervision and training to our practitioners specific needs.
While our office base and primary work is in Darwin we also offer a range of opportunities to work regionally (e.g. Katherine Alice Springs) and within remote Indigenous communities e.g. Maningrida Gunbalanya. There is an option to work from home for administration / report writing.
The Northern Territory is an exciting mix of tropical and desert landscapes with world leading national parks and diverse wildlife.
