ColgatePalmolive is seeking a highly motivated scientist with a track record of excellence for a postdoc position in Global R&D Early Research Personal Care group based in Piscataway NJ location.The position is a two year fixed term of atwill employment with the opportunity to apply for full time employment at the termination of the term.
- Develop predictive lab and skin instrumentation methods to screen and validate technologies incorporating the latest understanding of physical/mechanical aspects of aging within the broader context of relevant biological function
- Identify and validate new technology opportunities for premium skin health benefits
- Develop demos to illustrate mechanism of action and/or support superior performance of technology leads for premium skincare products
Main responsibilities:
- Develop disruptive antiaging technologies for both instant and long lasting benefits
- Validate top leads through invivo studies utilizing skin instrumentations
- Assess antiaging technologies using enzyme based bioassays
- Develop research plans and independently execute projects
- Identify and lead collaboration effort with external partners/suppliers
- Collaborate and communicate with crossfunctional teams to achieve project goals
- Manage requirements involving legal agreements IP regulatory safety and quality
Basic Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering molecular biology or biochemistry required.
- Skin biology experience preferred
- Knowledge or experience with environmental aggressors (pollutants UV etc. a plus
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong project management and skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
