You will use your technical prowess to deliver on challenging problems with simple maintainable and extensible solutions. You will take risks and experiment define and deliver solutions in small chunks build on success from the past and learn from failures. You will work alongside a team that collaborates and takes on shared goals to deliver solutions that are larger than each individual. You learn from others and in turn make others around you better.
Your immediate customers are other developers and your ideas and code will touch hundreds of millions of shoppers worldwide. You will have the opportunity to impact the technical choices we make at Amazon and how Amazon developers develop. Key job responsibilities
Providing tech strategy leadership to the engineering team. Participating in the scrum meetings with the team contributing to QBR docs and working with senior leaders across the org to define the tech strategy.
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary for this position ranges from $114800/year up to $191800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
