Commercial Loan Officer / Portfolio Manager
Job Summary
This opportunity offers an experienced individual with goals of career growth the opportunity to be part of our newest community expansion in the greater Lenexa KS region. As a representative of the bank this lender will be instrumental in helping expand OMBs brand recognition while increasing our market presence by engaging with community members who can benefit from the products and services offered with a focus on commercial lending activities
A lender at this level may have one or two direct reports: including loan assistants and less experienced developing lenders. Our lenders act as the guide for interested borrowers and applicants throughout thecommercial loan process from preparing the loan application through closing. The lender is also responsible for managing their portfolio for the life of the loan including draws overdrafts and past dues. Officers work directly with support staff throughout the lending cycle to guarantee our customers experience outstanding service.
A lender must be able to demonstrate and apply knowledge of the many avenues for commercial loan structuring and funding. With a focus on relationship banking loan officers are expected to identify and crosssell additional bank products and services that benefit the customer. Loan Officers will be required to be licensed by applicable state and national authorities. Compensation is a combination of base salary plus production incentive and performance is assessed in part on annual portfolio management and growth requirement.
Primary Location/Schedule:

- 8:00 am 5:00 pm Monday Friday; overtime and weekends based on loan volume
- Fulltime: 40 hours per week average
Position Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in finance or business administration preferred
- Five plus years of prior experience in lending required
- Experience in managing a portfolio of $75 million or more required
- Currently established portfolio of lending pipeline preferred
