The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $82875$121550 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location education experience knowledge and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
Our Robotics Development team is seeking a Test Engineer Lead to join the Integration Testing & Validation group. This role is designed to ensure seamless collaboration between developers project management and integration & testing engineers. The Test Engineer Lead will be accountable for all integration and testing deliverables within the project including the understanding collection and review of requirements test plans and test reports.
Core Responsibilities:
As the Test Engineer Lead in R&D you will be responsible for:
- Building relationships with the development team to understand project timelines.
- Collaborating with integration & testing engineers and development teams to develop comprehensive project test plans.
- Ensuring that the appropriate testing resources are allocated to your project.
- Providing regular updates to the project team on all testing activities.
- Being the primary point of accountability for all testing activities within the project team.
- Assisting integration & testing engineers assigned to your project.
- Engaging in all phases of the projectfrom refining requirements to designing and implementing the solution culminating in testing and documentation.
- Working closely with mechatronics safety production testing and customer service teams on a global scale.
- Participating in global projects which may require approximately 10 travel.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree in engineering computer science or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in automation design or testing.
- A handson approach to problemsolving.
- Initiative and willingness to take on leadership responsibilities.
- Project Lead or Project Management experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with complex systems or SysML is advantageous.
