Management and Strategy
To be responsible for managing a set client portfolio including for all aspects of account management as specified by DOSM total account management: ensuring repeat business and developing new business for rooms groups and meetings & events and Food & Beverage rate negotiation maintaining client profiles in Opera/ASA credit payment and managing complaints.
Maintain full potential analysis and strategic plan of all relevant accounts
To represent the hotel as primary point of contact and to network and develop account knowledge and business through the Accor Global Sales Offices and KAM structures as relevant
Business Development
To be responsible for an assigned market/territory and to cultivate new commercial relationships and revenue streams from the allocated areas as instructed
New business targets per team member to be clarified based on the budget and strategy implemented
General Activities & Responsibilities
Achieve all sales activity targets as agreed in the sales action plan
Attend sales trips exhibitions and functions representing the hotel as directed by DOSM
Ensure timely and professional follow up with all assigned clients for all administrative requirements
Good communication must be in place with all Operational and back of house departments to ensure guests smooth operations timely response and guest satisfaction.
To support colleagues in the Sales and Operational Teams at all times in order to protect the interest of the hotel and ensure quality service for guests and potential customers
To stay informed of market and competitor changes and update DOSM accordingly
To act as an ambassador for Accor Hospitality and cross sell all brands in all locations as relevant to your clients requirements.
Management Administration & General
To attend and participate in Morning and Weekly Sales Meetings
Maintain proper Opera record of all Sales Activity on daily basis
Maintains files on all active accounts ensuring Opera/ASA/Laserfische are all up to date
Ensure Opera trace system is followed daily
Complete Sales Reports on Monthly basis and as instructed
Comply with hotels health safety and hygiene policies
Perform related duties and special projects as assigned
Be an example for all fellow colleagues and exercise the ACCOR values
Participate in trainings as directed .
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in marketing or related field
Proactive self motivated loves challenges
A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a 5 star Hotel
Excellent communication skills
The ability to achieve sales targets and work in a highly pressurized environment
Passion to lead and a desire to succeed
