Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to support agency operations in the areas of fleet management procurement facility issues and supply inventory.

POSITION DUTIES

  • Ensure adequate continuous maintenance and repairs of the agencys fleet vehicles.
  • Procure supplies materials and equipment.
  • Manage the supply room inventory.
  • Assist with basic facility issues.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must meet all minimum (and selective) qualifications to be considered and to appear on the list of people eligible for hire. Please read all requirements before applying.


Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience: One year of experience performing administrative staff clerical clerical technical or secretarial work.

Notes:

1. Candidates may substitute 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.

2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a noncommissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a yearforyear basis for the required experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualification(s). Include clear and specific information on your application regarding your qualifications.

Six months of experience ordering supplies or acquiring goods and services.
Six months of troubleshooting equipment difficulties.
Six months of experience managing shared calendars for scheduling maintenance coordination and activity tracking.
Six months of experience with computer tools like Google Applications and Microsoft Suites.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates may be responsible for providing their own transportationas needed to access meetings remote locations and job destinations as assigned.

The assessment may consist of a rating of your education training and experience related to the requirements of the is important that you provide complete and accurate information on your report all experience and education that is related to this position.

For education obtained outside the U.S. a copy of the equivalent American education as determined by a foreign credential evaluation service must be provided prior to hire.

It is imperative to list all computer and software experience on your application pertaining to your jobduties.
