Job Title: Lansing MI - IT - DTMB - Agency Services - DHHS - Programmer Analyst 3 - Salesforce Developer
Job Location: 235 S Grand Ave Lansing MI 48933
Projected Start Date: 08/25/2025
Projected End Date/Duration: At least 1 Years from projected start date with possible extension
Interview Process: Candidates submitted must be willing to come onsite (Lansing MI) for interviews. A screenshot photo of candidate will be required for any interviews as well as a vendor present at beginning of any MS Teams interview to validate candidate.
Remote or On-site: Accepting local candidates within an hour of Lansing ONLY. Position will be hybrid in office 2 days a week upon start and there is NO REMOTE ONLY option.
Required skills/experience:
- 5 years of development/testing experience using Salesforce Apex in enterprise software architecture environment
- 1 year of API Integration experience
- Hands on development experience using Salesforce configuration and customizations using Apex Visualforce Triggers Scheduled and Batch classes etc
- Knowledge of Product Development Lifecycle and DevOps Tools such as GIT Jenkins Azure DevOps etc
Required Skills:
- 5 years of development/testing experience using Salesforce Apex in enterprise software architecture environment
- 1 year of API Integration experience
- Strong preference for candidates who are certified in the following areas - Certified Platform Developer I Certified Platform Developer II
- Hands on development experience using Salesforce configuration and customizations using Apex Visualforce Triggers Scheduled and Batch classes etc.
- Build Salesforce solutions on Salesforce Cloud Service Cloud Marketing Cloud Salesforce Communities or Knowledge
- Strong Salesforce customization and configuration experience (at least 1 or more of the following Salesforce modules:
- Sales Cloud
- Service Cloud
- Marketing Cloud
- Salesforce Communities and knowledge
- Experience building integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST SOAP APIs OAuth and Single Sign-On
- Knowledge of Product Development Lifecycle and DevOps Tools such as GIT Jenkins Azure DevOps etc.
- A thorough understanding of Salesforce Deployment Process and tools such as ANT Change Sets and IDE
- Experience with ETL tools
- Utilizing Agile processes principles and techniques create verify document and implement top-notch business and technical solutions on Salesforce
- Any development experience in UI technologies such as Bootstrap Lightning Design System (LDS) Lightning Components Development AngularJS jQuery JavaScript is a plus
- Experience in training/mentoring a junior developer is a plus
- Experience/understanding of healthcare industry is a plus
