About the Role:
- Cox & Kings is seeking a strategic and experienced AVP / VP of Finance to lead the financial operations drive strategic growth and ensure financial compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial planning reporting and stakeholder management within the travel and hospitality industry.
- Financial Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
- Lead longterm financial planning and budgeting processes.
- Provide financial insights to support executive decisionmaking.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Oversee financial reporting ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and audits.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks.
- Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with department heads to drive financial performance.
- Present financial reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors investors and regulatory bodies.
- Cost Optimization & Revenue Enhancement:
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiencies.
Develop strategies to enhance revenue streams and profitability.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor the finance team fostering a highperformance culture.
- Provide training and development opportunities to build financial capabilities.
- Required Qualifications and Skills:
- A Master s degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA) Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Company Secretary (CS) are highly preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience Relevant to the Travel or Hospitality Industry
- SAP Experience.
- Extensive knowledge of P&L management ratio analysis and financial forecasting.
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and make sound strategic decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in effectively managing and developing teams of individuals to achieve organizational goals and succession planning.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and resultsorientation
