This is a part time 20 hours per week position with the potential to convert to full time in the future.

The Surgical PI Coordinator is responsible for the daytoday performance improvement oversight of the care of the surgical patient across thecare for ensuring compliance with the American College of Surgeons performance improvement verification patient charts as you assist with the identification preparation and analysis of cases and safety events occurring in patients undergoing procedures under anesthesia for review and discussion at conferences and committee meetings by reviewing trigger reports HERO reports and dashboard data. Participates in perioperative quality and safety committees and eventrelated ACAs and in close collaboration with the Departments of Surgery Anesthesia Quality and Safety and all hospital services which provide service to the surgery the interdisciplinary performance improvement and patient safety program for the childrens surgical program to comply with the American College of Surgeon Level 1 Childrens Surgery Verification with the identification preparation and analysis of cases and safety events occurring in patients undergoing procedures under anesthesia for review and discussion at conferences and committee meetings by reviewing trigger reports HERO reports and dashboard data. Participates in perioperative quality and safety committees and eventrelated ACAs and RCAs.

Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Current State of Florida RN license required.

Five years OR/perioperative nursing experience pediatric and/or patient safety and quality experience preferred. Experience or familiarity with National Surgical Quality Improvement Program(NSQIP)preferred.

Salary Range: Minimum40.95per hour Maximum63.46per will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
