Job Description

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.

We are hiring a Staff Nurse - Medical/Surgical Ward into a Hospital in Galway Ireland.

Part Time 23 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality evidence-based patient care as part of a devoted and friendly nursing team working within the NMBI scope of practice.
  • Provide empathetic assistance to patients making sure they feel safe comfortable and cared for throughout their hospital stay.
  • Be versatile and adaptable enough to work in all clinical areas of the hospital as needed.
  • Report any events promptly through the appropriate channels to preserve a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collect assess and keep correct records to enable smooth communication and patient care.
  • Complies with established policies procedures and guidelines while providing the best possible nursing care and treatments.
  • Maintain the proper documentation while taking part in the assessment planning execution and evaluation of patient care using the nursing process method. carries out discharge planning in accordance with patient care requirements
  • Administer medications intravenous medications blood and blood products and restricted substances in accordance with established protocols. reports any adverse events or drug errors and keeps track of patients after administration in accordance with policy.



Requirements

  • Possess the right to register or be listed in the General Division of the An Bord Altranais Register of Nurses.
  • Possess three years of post-registration nursing experience ideally in acute medical or surgical settings.
  • Capacity to collaborate with others to deliver high-quality services
  • Professional and personal responsibility for patient care
  • NMBI registration and RGN qualification
  • Three Years After Enrollment
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Since the position holder will need to alternate between days and nights a flexible approach to work schedules is necessary.
