Heat Pump Manager / Lead Engineer
Location: Flexible Head Office Site Visits & Home Working
Salary: Negotiable Company Van (with personal use) PerformanceBased Incentives

An established leader in renewable technologies with over 16 years success in Solar and EV installations this company is now launching its Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) division. With an outstanding reputation and a proven team (including multiple longterm hires weve placed) they are committed to quality innovation and growth in the renewable sector.
The Opportunity:
This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Heat Pump Engineer ready to take the next step. Youll play a pivotal role in launching and leading the companys new ASHP department managing the full lifecycle of projectsfrom planning to installation and signoff.
Youll have real influence to shape how the division is structured grow a subcontractor network and help build a highquality scalable service offering.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee all ASHP installations from initial planning to final commissioning

Manage and coordinate subcontractors and onsite teams

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards

Carry out onsite inspections to monitor progress and standards

Collaborate with internal teams to streamline project delivery and customer satisfaction

Contribute to the departments longterm strategy and growth

Act as the technical lead remaining handson when required

Provide guidance on materials technology and efficient working practices
What Youll Need:
-
Proven experience in air source heat pump installations
-
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of domestic heating systems
-
Confident managing subcontractors and overseeing multiple projects
-
Gas Safe registration and relevant qualifications (FGAS WRAS etc. desirable)

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Previous leadership experience or a readiness to step into a senior/managerial role

Full UK driving licence
